Create a robot that can make a cup of coffee? No problem. For my final capstone project for my Media and Journalism degree, I helped to develop BrewBot. The goal of the project was to create a robot which could input instructions into a coffee machine completely independently, and then serve that cup!

This project wouldn’t have been possible without the staff and robotic arms of BlueSky Labratories. I had the opportunity to work closely with their robotics and front end development team to help create a memorable coffee experience!

THE MISSION

I assisted in the development of the python code which moves the robot, the creation of the grippers to properly hold the cups, and ensuring that the user menu was properly set up and looked sleek.
